APPLICATION PROCESS
  1. Signing the service agreement
  2. Document preparation usually takes 3–6 months
  3. Submitting the application at a Bulgarian embassy/consulate in your country (or in Sofia). Personal presence is required. The submission process can take up to 5 days
  4. After submission, the application is reviewed by the relevant authorities within up to 24 months
  5. Receiving the citizenship documents: a second visit to Sofia to take the oath and obtain the passport
