- - - EU Blue Card is a residence permit for highly qualified specialists from non-EU countries. The document allows to live and work freely on the territory of Bulgaria under an employment contract for up to 5 years. With the Blue Card it is possible to travel within the EU and use it as a Schengen.
After 12 months of work in Bulgaria with the EU Blue Card, it is possible to obtain the EU Blue Card in another EU country in a simplified procedure. This involves the summation of the length of residence in Bulgaria for the subsequent obtaining of a permanent residence permit.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Finding an employer and preparing documents for obtaining a work permit.
Obtaining a D visa at the Bulgarian consulate (within one and a half months).
Obtaining a permit for Bulgarian residence permit at the Migration Service (the process takes 3 days).
Submitting an application for the production of a personal card.
Receiving EU Blue Card.
